About Poltava, UkrainePoltava is a beautiful city. It is not large, and only has a population around 300,000. It has many green parks, and a beautiful city center with many restaurants and shops. There are a few museums, an art gallery, a theater; and many monuments built to honor leading citizens (who were born in Poltava, or who provided a valuable service while living in Poltava). It is an excellent place to visit if you wish to see the real Ukraine and the daily life of its people.
